International students and faculty
Boston College’s international student population grew for the 11th consecutive year, and now comprises 13 percent of total enrollment. In the current academic year, there are 1,878 students from outside the United States (1,015 undergraduate, 863 graduate), up 6 percent from last year and more than double the head count of a decade ago. There are also 313 international faculty and research scholars, up from 278 in 2017–18 and 129 in 2008–09.
