On Thursday afternoons through early October, University Dining Services sponsored a market on Corcoran Plaza where students could purchase locally grown produce with meal plan dollars. Blueberries, peaches, and other fruits were the most popular items, according to Helen Wechsler, director of Dining Services, followed by (in no particular order) eggplants, kale, green beans, and corn. The market will resume in spring.
