Michael Noone is an adjunct associate professor of music at Boston College. In 2006, Noone was honored by Spain's King Juan Carlos I for his discovery of works by 16th-century Spanish composers and for his recordings of Spanish Golden Age music. Below are selections from his 2008 CD in which he directs Ensemble Plus Ultra in a modern recording premier of Canticum Canticorum Salomonis—Song of Songs of Solomon—by Gioseffo Zarlino (1517–90). The CD is available at a discount from the Boston College Bookstore.
