There are too many fields on the Brighton Campus. BC should make way for engineering school instead.

is the school going to implement a frat-like dorm system like they do at Duke and are beginning to do at many schools?

I agree with Bill O’Leary’s comment, make way for an engineering school. It would go well with the new emphasis on the sciences.

I’d also like to know what this means for BCs other properties, i.e. Newton Campus.

Has the projected timetable for implementation been determined yet?

I believe the addition of an Engineering School would be ideal for Boston College. Also, the architectural style of the Master Plan appears to be a forced hybrid of Collegiate Gothic and “contemporary office”. Perhaps stronder placement of traditional accents with less use of glass would provide for a more classic feel to the new construction …making it less likely to seem dated overtime.
