He signed the yearbook, “Ohio,” as chris had transferred from Ohio. Played football, was good guy and had to be one hell of a guy in combat. God bless his soul and grant him eternal peace. On my last visit to the Wall, many years ago, I found his name and offered a short prayer in his memory. We were not close friends, but can’t believe it’s been 40 years already. I write this, fittingly, on Memorial Day, 2008.
